Singapore Study Tour

English is a foreign language that students need tremendous exposure to in order to master. We organised a study tour to Singapore for our P.6 students from 23rd to 26th January, 2024. 36 students were selected after going through a written test and an interview. They followed 6 teachers to participate in a cultural experience study tour in Singapore. By the end they grew in knowledge, culture and attitude.

 

On these four days, our students and teachers visited many different places including Singapore Management University, the Singapore Science Museum, Little India, Night Safari and more. The most unforgettable experience was the DNA workshop that they took in the Singapore Science Museum. Students used simple apparatus in a laboratory to extract DNA from wheat under the guidance of an expert science teacher. They also built a DNA model on their own at the end. Students were overjoyed. The tour ended in laughter!
